Show Us Shetland

Mackerel fishing, by Katrena Anderson, Shetland, 2021.

Over the past few weeks we at Document Scotland have had the great pleasure of collaborating with Shetland Arts, engaging with young people on the islands using photography to #ShowUsShetland.

Lockdown hasn’t stopped us from seeking collaborations, enjoying photography of Scotland, and inspiring new photographers and work.

Join us for an evening of photography from Shetland, including photography from Jeremy Sutton-Hibbert, Tom Kidd’s work of Shetland in the 1970’s, photography from Heather Shuker at Map6 Collective, and importantly the photography from the young people of Shetland, shot in these past few weeks.

Please join us for an informal, but fun evening. The event is on Tuesday, 23rd March, 7-9pm. A free event, but please register here to receive the Zoom event link. Thank you, we hope you can join us! – Jeremy, Sophie and Colin.
